Senior-led, with specialist capacity when needed
I lead every engagement directly. When a solution needs capabilities beyond my own, I can involve trusted developers, testers, project managers, quality and regulatory consultants, or established software firms from my professional network. Any extended team is shaped around the work and agreed with the client in advance.

I have spent more than 20 years working between business needs and technology, across telecommunications, quality-critical and regulated software, organisational improvement and AI product development. My work has included business and process analysis, requirements, quality leadership, organisational change, KPI and reporting design, internal process optimisation, automation and applied AI.
I progressed from Business Analyst to Head of QA, built and developed a function from 8 to 35 people, advised clients on processes and tooling, and founded an internal AI R&D initiative. Today, I work with senior leaders, product teams and operational functions to clarify business problems, optimise internal processes, and turn them into understandable systems, practical decisions and implementable solutions.
What connects this work is pattern recognition. I notice where information changes meaning, where a workaround has become a dependency, where people are carrying knowledge that should belong to the system, and where a small inconsistency points to a larger organisational problem.

Understand the system before choosing the tools.
I created Neurocroft because invisible complexity does more than waste money. It consumes people’s attention, creates uncertainty and makes capable teams work harder than they should.
I do not begin by asking what software an organisation needs. I begin by understanding why the work feels difficult, how people are compensating for the current system and what success means to the people responsible for it.
My approach is people-first and evidence-led. Technology should support human judgement, not force people to redesign their judgement around a tool. I consider an engagement successful when the client can see the system more clearly, make better decisions and continue improving it without permanent dependence on me.
